PURPOSE
Hello, Tarpon Springs! My name is Jordan Van Loo, and I am the Public Information Officer (PIO) for the City of Tarpon Springs. In my role as the City's PIO, I want to ensure we meet your communication needs and focus on topics that matter most to you. To support this, we are conducting a research project designed to gather your input and help us shape an effective communication strategy for the city.
RESEARCH OBJECTIVES
Understand residents' and visitors' current satisfaction with the communication from the City, and measure communication results year over year
Identify residents' and visitors' platform preferences for accessing information from the City, to inform communication planning
Learn what topics are most important to residents and visitors so that we can prioritize content surrounding those topics
WHY THIS MATTERS
We want to utilize all our websites, social media channels, newsletters, and time effectively and prioritize the platforms, topics, and content types that our residents and visitors are most interested in. Research enables us to understand communication preferences across demographics, helping us better engage with our community.
ABOUT THE SURVEY
Your honest input will help us serve our community better through our communication efforts. An email is required to access the survey to prevent spam and multiple submissions. All responses are anonymous and analyzed in aggregate—individual answers are never linked to your email or identity.
